My Thesis Statement

     In Max Mayer's Adam, there is a clear portrayal of Asperger's Syndrome seen in the main character Adam Raki. There is insight to what people with this syndrome have to face. Although there is a love story seen in the film, it doesn't fully show the social awkwardness people with Asperger's Syndrome face.

    Based on several sources, I will argue that despite an accurate portrayal of a character with Asperber's Syndrome in Max Mayer's film, _Adam_, there are some real distortions, especially in the movie's failure to portray the social awkwardness people with Asperger's typically face.
